As a new team member of the Academy Cougars softball team, I started in 2018 as a sophomore . I had a passion for playing baseball as a little girl, and being able to play for a team was a dream of mine. as the team was having practice, I made sure to give my all since there was a "cut" in which the coaches scouted out great players for the team. I ended up making the team although I started off as a person who sat in the benches, to becoming the catcher of the whole team. I started to play outfield, made my way to in- field as
a second baseman then my coach thought I'd be the best catcher for the team. I tried out for catching and we had won two championships and always made it to playoffs and championships. Then I was nominated as captain of the team and gotten honorable mentions. Throughout the years of playing I was on guampdn News and the sports networ of Guam.
