  • Assisted a global cryptocurrency derivatives trading platform in purchasing convertible bonds issued by a Korean media production company. Reviewed and revised convertible bond subscription agreement and call option agreement.
  • Assisted a global biotechnology company in its approximately $2 billion acquisition of a shareholder’s equity stake in their biosimilar joint venture. Reviewed and revised the share purchase agreement.
  • Defended a U.S. Company specializing in audio technologies against allegations of antitrust law violations brought by the Korea Fair Trade Commission (“KFTC”) and successfully dismissed the key allegation. Contacted and cooperated with law firms in relevant jurisdictions to process the filings of merger control notifications.
  • Represented a multinational technology company specializing in internet-related services during an investigation by the Personal Information Protection Commission ("PIPC") and obtained a favorable result without any sanction or fine. Drafted responses to the PIPC's multiple requests for information.
