Bouldering
Bouldering or rock wall climbing is to date one of my favorite hobbies. It is an activity I find both mentally and physically stimulating. The physical stimulation should be obvious but climbing anything is a demanding activity, fighting gravity to make your way up and sometimes in awkward positions, always worth every grueling second it took to get to the end; at the top of your climb, looking down at where you came from can only be described as almost poetic. I feel challenged with each new wall setup, visualizing making my way up the wall with ease only to make the attempt and that being much harder than I imagined. Climbing is cathartic in so many ways every climb being a show of how one can literally and figuratively get over themselves.
