Working in a hybrid environment of both military and civilian personnel to accomplish avails, often within compressed timeframes and with little to no time to plan ahead. The position requires a high level of synchronization with Engineering, Ship's Force, Project Management, and Production.
  • Serving as a WG 10, mentor, subject material expert, and an oversight for deck plate work on Seawolf, Los Angeles, Virginia, and Ohio class submarines, as well as CVN Aircraft Carriers.
  • Responsibilities include assisting the supervisor with coordination, communication, and execution of TGI utilizing civilian and military personnel.
  • Including reviewing upcoming TGIs for workability issues, making sure material for upcoming work is being called down in advance, and verifying all work is completed prior to TGI close out.
