
My name is Yasmine Marie John, and I am bilingual in English and fluent Pohnpeian. I have a strong background in customer service and experience across multiple industries including culinary, tourism, and banking. I previously worked as a chef assistant, where I studied food safety and sanitation and earned a certification of completion. Later, I pursued and completed my Associate of Science in Tourism and Travel Management at Guam Community College to gain a deeper understanding of the tourism industry and operational management.
Becoming a flight attendant has always been one of my biggest dreams because I am passionate about travel, customer service, and connecting with people from different cultures. Pursuing tourism and travel management allowed me to expand my knowledge of operations, hospitality, and the travel industry as a whole.
Currently, I have experience in banking operations and fraud investigations, with responsibilities involving teller operations, new accounts, wire transfers, compliance support, and customer-focused services. Throughout my career, I have developed strong communication, adaptability, and interpersonal skills, and I continue striving toward both personal and professional growth.
